If you're running one of Edge's color monitors in your diesel truck, you have the ability to monitor a plethora of different engine and powertrain vitals. However, without this optional EGT probe, you are missing out on the most important thing to watch, your exhaust gas temperate (EGT).
This probe is designed to work in conjunction with Edge's exclusive EAS (Expandable Accessory System) to allow you to daisy chain multiple sensors if need be. Otherwise, this sensor works perfectly as a stand-alone with your existing monitor. Built with a 15" lead, if the need ever arises, you can easily replace only the probe without replacing the entire harness down the road.
